What better way to spend a Sunday than in the company of friends or loved ones, with live jazz, brunch and fine wines?
Claire's Trio will be playing fresh new arrangements of Claire's own compositions interspersed with songs by famous songwriters. Her songs often speak about our common shared experiences questioning how we can find and create more joy and peace in the context of the world we live in expressed with beautiful, soulful melodies and captivating soundworlds that might at times remind you of Sade, Abbey Lincoln, Liane Le Havas or Karen Carpenter.
She is joined by virtuoso electric accordion player Volodymyr Vasylenko who is one of five in the whole of Ukraine who plays jazz on accordion and bayan. He has numerous awards and formal qualifications alongside many concert performances in Ukraine and beyond. Volodymyr grew up in a family with three children and started playing the accordion when he was only three years old. When his father saw his blossoming talent, he sold his tractor and bought his son a ‘grownup’ accordion for $2000.
Volodymyr still has this today. Most recently he taught music in schools before having to flee Kharkiv, the city where he used to live with his family before the war.
Also joining Claire is the inspirational, creatively versatile improviser, composer, drummer and percussionist Martin Pyne who heads up the UK Jazz Facebook group for the artist-friendly Bandcamp platform. He works as a soloist and in ensembles often performing with dancers and accompanying silent film.

The nearest carpark is The Atrium (Park Street, Camberley, Surrey, GU15 3QL) - Exit the Atrium on the ground floor (with Starbucks on your left) and then turn left at Zizzi's and Login Lounge is approx 200m on your left (next to Pandora and opposite The Bear pub).
